- GP Registration: Assistance with registering with a local GP to make sure you have access to healthcare when you need it.
- Signposting: Guidance and information on where to find further help and support.
- Cardiovascular Disease and Lipid Prevention Testing: Checks to help you prevent heart disease and manage your cholesterol levels.

What can I expect when I visit?
Our team of friendly, experienced clinicians have worked out and about in the local community for several years, and so have plenty of knowledge in what's important to you - meaning they can help you to find the health and care resources you're looking for.
They can offer some clinical services including NHS Health Checks - which are designed to help you find out about any underlying conditions you might have that can be treated early to avoid issues later on. If you're aged between 40 and 74 and don't already have underlying health conditions, you can get a free NHS Health Check from the YHYW team.
They can also help you to register with a GP if you're not already registered. Registering with a GP in the UK is important, even if you don't plan on living here for a long time - as it helps us make sure you're on the list for relevant screening services for illnesses like cancer, and allows you to access treatment when you need it, not only from your GP, but from across our local NHS.
And they can help you find out more about local services in your area - including those on offer from across the voluntary and wider public sector. If you need advice on anything from mental health to money worries, our team can point you in the right direction to get further help and support.
