“We each will have a voice that counts, we all will feel safe and confident to speak up and take the time to really listen to understand the hopes and fears that lie behind the words.
It is more powerful to speak up than to silently resent”
- Bea Pavlovic, H&W ICB Freedom to Speak up Lead and Guardian
We want everyone who works at the ICS to feel confident to speak up. Confidence to speak up comes from knowing that if you speak up, you will be listened to and that appropriate action will be taken. We all have a part to play in listening to one another with respect and compassion.
When you speak up, you can help us learn and improve. By listening up, we can make sure we understand what needs to change. By following up, we can ensure that our learning leads to action and make the ICB a great place to work.
