Welcome to the 'Talent and Leadership' section of our website. Hello, my name is Kim Sales. Within my role as ICS Academy Director, I'm the lead for our inclusive and integrated H&W Talent and Leadership Development Strategy and Delivery Plan. I'm passionate about us finding and developing the untapped talents, career desires and expertise we have within our valuable health and care teams. I am equaly excited about our committment to connecting with people who aren't yet part of, but interested in joining, our wonderful workforce.
By working together we improve the lives of people across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and can see the unique opportunity to grow and develop our people, giving them the new start, new skills or new professional pathways.
Put simply, we want our current and future employees to know just how important they are to us by maximising their potential. We do this by offering upskilling to managers and other specific roles, whilst promoting bespoke training in a cross-sector, multi-professional environment.
Targeting development for individuals and groups who are under-represented is also very important to the ICS. We see the identities and lived experiences of our workforce as an asset- like their many skills and talents. Celebrating these diverse and varied backgrounds helps us better understand the communities we serve and the people we work with.
